Photo of the Week: Friday Night Lights Shine on Homecoming Game

Against the backdrop of a cool October night, the Bainbridge High School Spartans burst onto their home field, a golden streak of determination and pride as they prepared for the Battle of the Bridge against the North Kitsap Vikings. Unfortunately for the Spartans, the Agate Cup went to the Vikings. The stadium lights malfunctioned, twice delaying game play. And a rare penalty was called against Bainbridge for a spectator's air horn. Nonetheless, fans young and old filled the stands for the homecoming game and took home memories that will last long after the final whistle, even if they were not the memories they expected.
