Description
Located on the 'South Shore' of Eagle Harbor across from the Winslow Ferry terminal on Bainbridge Island. The 'Marina' was founded in 1976 with property purchase, a Washington State Aquatic Lease and "permit process" which brought the first "boater" in 1980.
The Eagledale Moorings Marina's present capacity, 13 Boathouses and 23 Open Slips. Boathouse lengths are 35' and 37' with Open Slips 36' to 45'. Add to this one 50' Boathouse and a 100' End Tie.
The operating philosophy established in 1980 and continuing to this day to provide no frills, safe, secure and protected boat moorage, This includes fresh water, 20 or 30 amp electrical service to each slip, hoses, dock carts, dumpster service and parking.
On the 'Security' side of boat moorage the entry gate is locked 24 / 7, security cameras installed and land line telephone service for '911' calls available. 'Safety' equipment includes life rings, oil spill kit, night lighting and fire extinguishers.
Boat holding tanks can be pumped with three methods available; preferred and primary is the Winslow Public Dock, 500 yards to the North side of Eagle Harbor. This is a no cost 24 / 7 pump station, Federally funded and connected to the city sewer treatment plant. A vessel pump out service is available as is a manually operated push cart with hand pump.
