Description
Bainbridge Arts & Crafts is a nonprofit gallery that brings free art education and outreach to communities across Kitsap County.
In fact, we are one of the region's largest nonprofit galleries, supporting the livelihood of more than 200 Northwest artists, while serving close to 10,000 youth, adults, and seniors each year through more than 100 free programs—inside and outside of the gallery space.
Founded in 1948 by a group of Bainbridge Island artists, we have a proud history as the first visual arts organization on Bainbridge Island and one of the very first in Washington State. Formerly known as Bainbridge Arts & Crafts, we took a leap in 2018 to reinvent ourselves and build a more far-reaching organization. We transformed our gallery space. We gave ourselves a new name. And we set our eyes on a high-impact future—one that brings more free art programs to more people in Kitsap County.
