Family Solstice Walks: December 21 & 22
Visit Bloedel Reserve with your family during the Winter Solstice to immerse yourself in the stillness of a garden at rest. Explore the trails with a guided tour as the sun sets.
Doors open at 4:30 PM; all walks will begin promptly at 5 PM from the Arrival Garden.

Adult Members: $20
Adult Non-Members: $25
Child (6 – 16): $5
Child (5 & under): Free
Price includes lantern use.
Meet at the Gatehouse Arrival Garden Plaza. Lanterns are provided for your walk. Please stay with your group and stick to the trails. Walks are roughly 1 1/2 miles and last approximately 1 hour. Restrooms are available at the Gatehouse; the Residence will be closed.
Inclement weather alternate dates/times will be on the evenings of Friday, December 27 and Saturday, December 28. These will be first come first serve based on weather cancellations. Doors open at 4:30 PM; walks will begin promptly at 5 PM.
Solstice Walks are non-refundable. In the event of cancellations by Bloedel Reserve due to inclement weather you will be contacted with a link to reserve one of our alternate dates. Ticket holders will be contacted on the day of the event via email and the website will reflect the most up-to-date cancellation information. If you are unable to attend the alternate date, you will receive a tax receipt for the cost of your ticket as a donation to the Reserve.
Weather Information
Visiting Bloedel Reserve is an outdoor experience. Please dress for the weather. Bloedel Reserve is open rain or shine. In the event of closure due to inclement weather, ticket holders will be contacted on the day of the event via email and the website will reflect the most up-to-date cancellation information.
