With a son who’s an administrator at the Bloedel Reserve, Kurt Bischoff already has plenty of photos of the beautiful gardens and grounds. In this shot, Bischoff captured beauty of another kind. “Earlier this year, on a cool spring day, my family, including our two grandsons, Calder (9) and Garner (4), were taking a guided tour of Bloedel Reserve. While I was intently photographing the trees, moss garden and early flowers, Calder was using his dad’s camera to take his own photos of whatever interested him. I wonder if his photo turned out better than mine!”
